Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger (Leighton Buzzard)

This role ensures the maintenance of company records, accuracy of reporting and production of financial information with particular focus on accounts payable related activities and cash book.

The role:

  • Process supplier invoices accurate & within SLA
  • Ensure invoices are approved prior to payment due dates
  • Reconcile Supplier statements regularly
  • Reconcile payments and process bank transactions daily
  • Ensuring accurate allocation of receipts using remittance advice, chasing if these are provided
  • Raise all purchase order for the company
  • Support the finance manager in the preparation of monthly management accounts and month end duties.

Experience:

  • Previous experience of accounts payable duties and cash book postings is essential
  • AAT Studier or part qualified
  • Sage Accounting Experience is an advantage

VNA & Reach Truck Drivers – (Leighton Buzzard)

We are looking for qualified VNA & Reach drivers for one of our Leighton Buzzard warehouses for Monday to Friday, permanent work.

The role is a variety of:

  • VNA/Reach driving, moving pallets to and from racking
  • Manual handling
  • Other warehouse duties as required

Professional Drivers - Category C+E and C

We have a requirement for Class 2 (Category C), multi-drop drivers, at our new operations centre in Dunstable.

  • Various vacancies for Permanent days or permanent nights, Monday to Friday, no changing shift pattern.
  • You will work 40 hours per week with additional hours available.

Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant (Leighton Buzzard)

Due to an internal move, we are looking for a enthusiastic person to join the team at Clipper House in Leighton Buzzard. This role will work closely with the Sales Ledger Supervisor and the Finance Manager and is ideal for someone either currently studying AAT or keen to study.

You will be responsible for:

  • Producing customer invoices weekly using the Transport Management System and the Warehouse Management System
  • Manually adding ad-hoc charges
  • Pricing jobs
  • Resolving customer queries on invoices and providing credit notes where necessary
  • Reviewing Subcontractor invoicing and entering into system
  • Preparing & checking Sage import files
  • Keeping both the Transport & the Warehouse management system up to date with new customers and any changes to current.
  • Ordering and logging warehouse consumables
  • General office duties to support the team

Key Skills:

  • Previous accounts team experience
  • Currently studying AAT Level 2 or passed & looking to progress with studies
  • Some Sage accounting experience would be an advantage but not essential
  • Competent user of Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
