Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver

Job Type: Full time: Monday – Friday – 42.5 hours worked between 8am and 7pm on a shift rotation

Location: Burton-Upon-Trent

Hourly rate: £13.00

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for delivering safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of customer goods and products, providing customers with a fast, reliable and accurate service.

Job requirements: 

  • Previous experience in working in a busy warehouse environment
  • OpenWMS usage is desirable but not essential as full training and support will be provided
  • Counterbalance/VNA/Reach/PPT is desired
  • Excellent attention to detail to reduce picking, packing, or despatch errors
  • Good customer service and communication skills

Site Supervisor

Job Type: Full time: Monday – Friday (rotating hours to be worked between 08.00 – 19.00)

Location: Burton-Upon-Trent

Salary: £32,094.20 per annum

Job Summary:

  • To lead and manage all contracts to achieve the required daily workload
  • To be the key customer liaison, admin and escalation point for all contracts/customers
  • To understand, orchestrate and manage all areas of the operation (goods in, goods out, warehouse layout, admin)
  • Ensure compliance to all legislation for Health & Safety and company housekeeping standards

Job requirements: 

  • A proven history of working with customer constraints, meeting deadlines and managing operational needs
  • Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of WMS system
  • Experience in leading and managing a workload to deliver results in a demanding warehouse environment
  • Manage resources (time, money, people) efficiently
  • Sets clear team responsibilities and fosters team ownership of results

Finance Manager

Job Type: Full time: Monday – Friday

Location: Miniclipper Logistics Head Office, Billington Road, Leighton Buzzard

Job purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily finance operations, looking to make improvements to existing procedures and controls, and working closely with the Financial Director, including working on ad hoc projects or duties as needed.

Job requirements: 

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge is essential
  • Excel and modelling to advance level is essential
  • Experience of annual audit processes and producing management accounts is required
  • Ability to delegate to and manage workload of others
  • Experience of Accounts Payable and Receivable essential
  • Experience of payroll desirable
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by experience
  • Ability to communicate to all levels with the ability to communicate effectively with non-finance managers
  • Manage resources (time, money, people) efficiently

Senior Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Type: Full time: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm

Location: Houghton Regis and Dunstable (2 sites)

Salary: £50,000

Job purpose:

To oversee the operation, development and profitability of two warehouses (46,000 sq. ft & 35,000 sq. ft) on a day to day basis, liaising with internal departments, the Transport Operation and customers to ensure excellent customer service is delivered.

You will be responsible for the operational performance and strategic direction of the warehouses, ensuring that high standards are attained for all activities within the warehouse, providing vision, leadership, guidance and motivation to the team.

Job requirements: 

  • Operational management and previous 3PL experience is essential
  • Six sigma background or qualification is desirable
  • P&L, budget and forecasting experience
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Drives self and sites to exceed goals through encouraging innovation and progressive ways in the workplace to make improvements and efficiencies

Class 2 HGV Drivers

We are seeking Professional Class 2 HGV Drivers for our Dunstable site for multi-drop palletised deliveries and collections to commercial and residential premises within the local area with a focus on safety, efficiency and compliance.

Ideal candidates would be physically fit, and able to offload deliveries with tail lift (all vehicles carry electric pump truck.) Full ADR license is desirable but training will be provided for the right candidates. On-the-job training during a five day induction process is also provided.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome and would benefit from support from our driver training team. Class 1 drivers are also welcome to apply if willing to do Class 2 multi-drop work. This would be paid at a Class 1 rate.
