Transport De-Brief Administrator

Job Type: Full time: Monday – Friday 1.00pm – 10.00pm

Location: Dunstable

Salary: £27,992.64

Job purpose:

In this role you will oversee the de-briefing of all day shift drivers who return to the depot after their shift, including checking paperwork is filled in, all issued items are returned and data is entered into the relevant spreadsheets. You will also be the first point of contact for night shift drivers at the start of their shift to ensure they have all relevant paperwork and items to complete their shift. The key skill in this role is communication with returning drivers, ensuring specific questions are asked and specific tasks have been carried out.

Job requirements: 

  • Experience working in a transport operation and knowledge of the logistics industry is essential
  • Previous administrative and transport experience is preferred
  • Experience in using TMS systems is preferrable
  • Ability to adapt to changes to meet the demands placed on Miniclipper by our customers
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential

Site Manager

Job Type: Full time: Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm

Location: Dunstable

Salary: £45,072.56

Job purpose:

As a Site Manager, you will oversee warehouse operations of your site and will be responsible for managing all aspects of site operations, including profit and loss (P&L) management, site development initiatives, developing strategic partnerships and building and maintaining positive relationships with existing and prospective clients through excellent communication to enhance profitability and identify new opportunities.

You will also be required to ensure your site complies with health and safety regulations and drive the companies Health & Safety Culture. You will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and leading a team of warehouse personnel.

Job requirements: 

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics operations, with a focus on P&L management and site development
  • Awareness of health and safety and best practices within a warehouse to IOSH level
  • A warehouse CPC or equivalent
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make data-driven decisions

Job summary:

Working as part of a team to provide palletised order picking and the loading/unloading of palletised freight onto a variety of vehicles using Counterbalance forklifts and PPTs/LLOP’s within a fast-paced distribution environment

Transport Planning Administrator

Job Type: Full time: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 6.00pm

Job summary:

  • You will oversee and manage all jobs that are entered onto our TMS by our warehouses and customers and ensure they are carried out based on customer requirements
  • You will allocate collections to drivers throughout the day to ensure all freight is collected, communicating with customers on ETAs
  • You will also work with colleagues to plan driver’ routes for the following day

Job requirements: 

  • Experience working in a transport operation and knowledge of the logistics industry is essential
  • Previous administrative and transport planning experience is essential
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Class 2 Drivers

Job Type: 45 hour working week with variable start and shift pattern (1-hour unpaid break per day)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking Professional Class 2 HGV Drivers for our Dunstable site . This will include multi-drop palletised deliveries and collections to commercial and residential properties in the local area with a focus on safety, efficiency and compliance
  • Ideal candidates would be physically fit, and able to offload deliveries with tail lift (all vehicles carry electric pump trucks)
  • Full ADR license is desirable, but training will be provided for the right candidates
  • On-the-job training during a five-day induction process
