Warehouse Data Analyst

We have a requirement for a Warehouse Data Analyst at our 5 sites at Leighton Buzzard, Houghton Regis and Dunstable. Applicants must:

  • Have excellent analytical skills
  • Have experience within a fast-moving distribution business, preferably within the 3PL
    sector
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be calm under pressure, with strong planning skills
  • Have strong communication with ability to tailor communication style to people of all levels within the business
  • Have innovative approach, forward thinking, able to think outside the box and generate
    new opportunities for improvement
  • Be a team player and works well autonomously
  • Have strong H&S awareness with a passion to improve performance in this area
  • Have excellent computer skills and experience of WMS systems

Warehouse Administrator

Finance Manager

We have a requirement for a Finance Manager at our Head Office site at Billington Road, Leighton Buzzard. The role will have the following key duties & responsibilities:

  • Taking full ownership of month end reporting process, ensuring output is delivered within 5 working days of month end
  • Completing monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation
  • Completing analytical review of all expense codes and identifying any exceptional costs
  • Preparing monthly profit and loss reports for each department & site, including variance analysis
  • Submitting monthly reports to the bank
  • Producing weekly profit and loss accounts for each site, investigating/identifying any action as and when required.
  • Reconciling the weekly reports to the monthly management accounts
  • Reviewing daily bank reconciliations & purchase ledger postings
  • Reviewing and authorising any large and unusual sales credit notes
  • Reviewing and approving supplier payment runs and processing bank payments
  • Providing cover for purchase ledger and bank transaction processing
  • Overseeing credit control
  • Reviewing and authorising weekly and monthly payroll, as well as providing cover for payroll processing.
  • Maintaining accounting records of the group companies
  • Preparing, reconciling and submitting VAT returns
  • Ensuring all tax submissions and payments are processed accurately and within prescribed deadlines
  • Collating annual audit file and half yearly bank audit file. Liaising with auditors and providing any required information
  • Working closely with various managers of the business and providing analysis to support decision making
  • Formally documenting HR meetings and issuing correspondence in compliance with applicable rules and regulations
  • Providing information to support costing and tender submission
  • Managing and developing a team of five staff

Applicants must also have the following technical competencies:

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Excel and modelling
  • Experience running annual audit process and producing statutory accounts
  • Ability to delegate to and manage workload of others
  • Experience of AP, AR, Payroll
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • SAGE accounting and SAGE Payroll experience an advantage

Customer Service Staff Member

We have a requirement for customer services person at our new operations centre in Dunstable. Applicants must:

  • Adaptable IT skills
  • Customer focussed attitude
  • Understanding of transport operations useful but not essential
  • Good team player
  • Thrive under pressure in a busy logistics operation
  • Be flexible enough to work the split shift pattern

Class 2 Drivers Required

We have a requirement for Class 2 (Category C) multi-drop drivers at our new operations centre in Dunstable. Applicants must:

  • be at least 25 years old.
  • have at least 2 years experience.
  • have no more than 6 endorsement points on their licence.
  • be flexible with starting times.
