Alzheimer’s Disease an illness very close to Miniclipper’s heart having lost our founder, Mick Masters to Alzheimer’s last year. This October, Miniclipper and Mick’s family joined forces to organise a charity event to raise vital funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK.
The charity ball was held at the beautiful location of Plum Park Manor near Towcester with guests travelling from as far as Malaysia and Scotland. As well as friends and family, Miniclipper Logistics were also delighted to welcome customers, suppliers, network partners and industry bodies to support the event.
We were overwhelmed by the generous donations we received in terms of monetary donations, and auction and raffle prizes, which ranged from Dyson hoovers to Cliff Richard tickets to a 3-night stay in the Salcombe estuary.
We are absolutely delighted to announce that we raised £11,000 for Alzheimer’s Research who are working to revolutionise the way dementia is treated, diagnosed and prevented.
We would like to thank Vicky and David representing Alzheimer’s Research who shared both the vision of the charity and personal experiences of the disease.
Miniclipper’s fundraising activities will not stop there, and we will be looking to repeat this great event again, to raise fund all those affected by Alzheimer’s Disease…
